Highlights of SINP Entrepreneur Draw held on Nov 3 2022

• Saskatchewan issued 55 EOIs for the candidates in the Entrepreneur stream

Abstract: Saskatchewan issued 55 EOIs for the candidates of the Entrepreneur stream held on November 3, 2022.

On November 3, 2022, the 'Breadbasket of Canada', that is, Saskatchewan conducted a draw for the candidates in the Entrepreneur stream. 55 EOIs or Expression of Interest were issued to the candidates. The candidates who have been issued EOIs are eligible to apply for Canada PR or permanent residency.

The candidates who had a score of 85 or above were issued EOIs.

What is SINP?

The SINP or Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program enables the nomination of immigrants authorized by the provincial government to apply for Canada PR. The program is divided into 3 categories. They are:

• International Skilled Worker
• Saskatchewan Experience
• Business Immigration

Eligibility Criteria for the Entrepreneurship Stream

Saskatchewan gives importance to 3 factors in circumstances where the candidates have equal points. The 3 attributes which are vital are:

• Proficiency in the English language
• Business plan for the economic sector of the province
• Executing the exploratory visit

Stages of the nomination in Entrepreneurship stream

The nomination for the entrepreneurship consists of three stages. They are:

• Submission of Expression of Interest
• Issuance of Invitation to Apply
• Nomination for permanent residency

Requirements for Expression of Interest

The candidate should meet the requirements given below to be eligible to be issued an EOI:

• The candidates should have at least 500,000 CAD of net worth
• The candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the entrepreneurial or related managerial sector
• An investment of at least 300,000 CAD is required for Regina or Saskatoon
• Any other region in Saskatchewan have an investment requirement of 200,000 CAD
