The UK extends foreign health workers’ visa by a year for free

In more positive updates from the UK immigration scene, over 6,000 health workers have been declared eligible to continue in the UK for another year. They will offer their services longer for the UK as their visas have been extended for free. This is a significant decision as the country is dealing with the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

These health workers include:

• Midwives
• Nurses
• Doctors
• Occupational therapists

Apart from them, there are those included who are present to work in UK to help the country get out of the pandemic crisis. The visas for health professionals have been extended from October 1, 2020, to March 31, 2021.
