• The U.S. new program plans will give citizenship to 50,000 immigrants.
• US. citizen’s family who have lived in the U.S. for ten years are eligible for the new program.
• After the migrant application is approved, will have three years to apply for Green card.
• The spouses will receive a temporary work permit after the application is approved which will allow them to stay in the country.

Eligibility criteria for US Green Card

Biden's new plan will give  spouses of some citizens who are staying in U.S. without a legal status can apply for permanent residency and later on citizenship . This new program has benefit half a million migrants.

 

A migrant who has lived in the United States for ten years and is married to a US citizen will be qualify for the program.

The U.S. new program plans will give citizenship to 50,000 immigrants. Immigrants who have resided in the US for 10-year and applied after June 17, 2024, will not qualify for the program or be eligible after Monday.

 

Benefits the qualified citizens will get

Once the application is approved, the qualified spouse will have three years to apply for a Green card. The spouses will receive a temporary work permit . 

 

*Note:The application for US PR and citizenship will open by the end of the summer, but the application fees are still undetermined.
