Abstract: The Premier of Saskatchewan has stated that the province has a sufficient number of jobs but not an adequate number of candidates to fill up the vacancies. The Premier of Saskatchewan, Scott Moe has sought help from the business community to persuade the Canadian government to boost immigration in the province. The Premier hopes to have more freedom in the immigration process and invite more people. He stated that the province does not lack employment offers, it lacks adequate human resources to fill the job vacancies in Saskatchewan. Scott Moe requested business people in Saskatchewan to ask the authorities in Canada for a new immigration accord for Canada-Saskatchewan similar to the accord with Quebec. Saskatchewan Immigration Aims for a Population of 1.4 Million

Immigration is an impactful way for Saskatchewan to increase the population of the province to 1.4 million people.
