This pilot program, launched on April 22, 2021, will be active until January 1, 2026. Satisfying the criteria of this program will allow you to apply for permanent selection to obtain a CSQ (Certificat de sélection du Québec).

To participate in this program, you are required to declare your interest in immigrating to Quebec to get employed. If your profile satisfies the criteria required by Quebec, you will receive an invitation to apply for permanent selection by the province.

The Immigration Process for Quebec

To apply for permanent selection under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program, you must file an Expression of Interest (EOI). This can be done online, free of charge.

 

 Eligibility of Quebec immigration

  • After submitting your application to EOI, you will be placed in the EOI bank. When your profile matches the province's requirements at a point in time, you will be invited to apply for permanent selection.
  • You can submit that application online via Arrima. You will have 30 days to lodge your application for permanent selection. After installing your application, it will be duly processed, during which process your application will be reviewed with all criteria considered.
  • If your application is approved, you will receive a CSQ. Then, you must apply to the Canadian government for permanent resident status.
