• Not have or applied to Sponsored Parent subclass 870 visa: The applicant can’t apply for Contributory Aged Parent Visa 884 if they hold or have already used for Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (subclass 870) visa.
• Applicants must have an eligible sponsor: The sponsors are generally their eligible children, but if their child is below eighteen years of age, the applicant can have a community organization or eligible relatives as a sponsor.
• Be the age of a pensioner: The candidate must be the age of a pensioner in Australia.
• No stay condition on the current visa: Your current visa must not have any further stay condition mentioned.
• Health requirement: Applicant must meet the health requirement of Australia.
• Character requirement: Applicant must meet the character requirement of Australia.
• Balance of family test: Applicant must meet the balance of family test.
• Must sign the Australian values statement: Signing the Australian values statement is a must before you apply for the Parent Visa 884.
