An ROI is supposed to submit by candidates who wish to get selected for Victoria’s skilled visa nomination. If an ROI has already been submitted for the 2022-23 program, the candidate must submit another ROI to get elected for the 2023-24 program. The ROIs will be there in the registered system until they are chosen, withdrawn, or when the year ends. The last submission date for the ROI is May 05, 2023.
The government analyses the selection process of the ROIs based on multiple factors which includes information based on the candidate’s Expression of Interest (EOI). The primary factors taken into consideration are as follows:
The ROI selection will be prioritized according to the occupation categories given below:
The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) maintains a list of occupations. Post-pandemic, all the occupations listed by the DHA have become eligible for visa application without the need to acquire STEM skills. The decision was taken to fill Canada’s workforce and labor shortage.
The lists of eligible occupations are as follows:
The table given is the list of occupation titles and their respective codes.
