Program Inclusions

The initial phase of the ACS IT Professional Year program comprises eight subjects, each spanning four weeks, totaling 32 weeks of formal learning. This stage is meticulously structured to equip you with the knowledge and communication abilities needed for a seamless transition into a professional Australian workplace.
While you're engaged in your formal studies, you'll have the opportunity to connect with your Placement Consultant and initiate the internship placement procedure. You will receive the necessary resources and guidance to effectively secure your internship during this phase. The process of interviews and internship preparation will persist for an additional two weeks following the completion of your subjects, with the primary emphasis on securing a suitable internship.
This phase often proves to be the highlight of the Professional Year program for many of PE students. It's the time when you have the opportunity to apply your knowledge in a real-world setting, enhancing your resume with valuable Australian IT experience. This constitutes the second formal learning component of the program. During this stage, you will engage in a 12-week professional internship in the IT field, organized by their dedicated internship placements team. PE collaborate with over 12,000 host companies located in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Brisbane, customizing your placement to align with your training requirements and career aspirations.

Course Outcome

Once completing Professional Year, Graduates will be eligible to claim 5 points towards the skilled migration program of Australia.
