Hungary Tourist Visa

Hungary, a Central European country, is a popular medical destination. Apart from dental tourism, it is known for spa tourism and plastic surgery.

If you wish to visit Hungary, you must apply for a short-term C (Schengen) tourist visa.

Eligibility criteria required for a tourist visa application:

• A passport that is valid for beyond three months of one’s stay in Hungary. It should have at least two blank pages and must have been issued within the last ten months.
• Old passports (if any)
• Passport-sized photographs
• A copy of your filled-out application form with a signature
• Evidence of having arranged accommodation, air tickets, and a schedule of your travel within Hungary
• Evidence of having adequate monetary resources to sustain your stay
• The bank statements for the past six months
• Income tax returns (ITR) statement
• Evidence of having at least €30,000 medical insurance to cover your travel
• If invited, an invitation letter containing the name, address, and the sponsor’s phone number.
