  • Status of the Visa
  • The candidate should not have had their visa canceled or rejected in the past.
  • No Cancellation of the Business Skill Visa
  • The application form for Visa Subclass 155 and 157 will not be accepted if the candidate had the visas listed below canceled. The visas are:
    • Subclass 132
    • Subclass 188
    • Subclass 840-846 visas
    • Subclass 160-165
    • Subclass 888 visas
    • Subclass 159 or 155 or 157
  • The visas could be canceled because of any business grounds for a business scheme.
  • Character Certificate
  • The candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria for the character to have a positive character certificate from the concerned authority.
  • Not have a Return Endorsement or an Authority to Return
  • The candidate should not have a return endorsement or an authority to return if they hold a visa subclass 155.
  • Age Specification
  • There is no particular age requirement for applying for Visa Subclass 155 and 157. International individuals of any age can apply for visa 157.
  • Requirements for Residence
  • The candidate should be a citizen of Australia or have lived in the country for at least 2 years in the previous 5 years. The holders of Australia PR are also eligible.

  • There are no age requirements for visa subclass 157.
  • The eligibility criteria for the resident and character should be fulfilled.
  • There should be no cancellation or rejection of the visa.
  • The candidate should be a permanent resident whose visa was not canceled before or a citizen who lost their status of Australian citizenship or Permanent resident.
  • They should not have an Authority to Return or Return Endorsement.
  • They should not have their business skill visa canceled.
