Nine tricks to reduce your visa worries in 2024:

Traveling to another nation can be an exciting experience, but waiting for a visa can be challenging. The wait time for the visa can make us impatient and irritated. Planning better for the visa can be a good initiative in decreasing the waiting time. To make your visa process more convenient, here are some tips to obtain the visa quickly:

Apply for the Schengen visa before the tourist season:

As per recommendation, the Schengen visa should be applied at least 15 days before the planned date and no more than six months before the start of the scheduled visit. June to September is the peak time for European tourism, as the summer season receives the most visa applications. So, if you plan your trip, you can avoid a long wait by applying for a Schengen visa before the tourist season. Apply in March or April if you plan to travel in the summer.

Look for other countries beyond the Schengen area and the US:

Several exciting destinations offer easy visas. At the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, different countries have taken various initiatives to improve the visa procedure. In 2024, Kenya, the East African country where the houses preserved the savannah of Masai Mara, announced visa-free access for visitors worldwide. An individual will need electronic travel authorization before arrival. Additionally, several beach and safari destinations offer travelers visa-free or visa-friendly access.

Avoid dummy bookings:

A dummy booking is considered a fake flight or hotel booking typically generated through online tools. This is a booking you haven't paid but have secured visa documentation, particularly for the Schengen visa. Application for a Schengen visa requires a plan with proof of a round-trip flight or hotel booking. It's strongly advisable to look for dummy bookings since they lead to rejection of the plan if they verify your proof. Instead, book a refundable flight booking and confirm a hotel reservation that offers to pay upon arrival.

If you choose a Schengen visa, look for countries with low rejection rates.

Look for countries that have rejection rates for visas. Three countries, Malta and Slovenia, have rejected more than 50% of Schengen visas. The lowest visa rejection rate was in Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Slovakia in the same year. Look for the countries that have low rejection rates for better trips.

Save time with visa waivers:

The past travel in your visa can speed up the visa procedure. If you are renewing your US visa, a "clearance received" or "department authorization" stamp on your application can be used as a boost point for your US visa. There is also a benefit to a Schengen visa. Suppose you have traveled to any Schengen country in the past four years and have given your biometrics for the visa procedure. In that case, you can skip the visit to the consultant to submit your biometrics information. Instead, you can send your document virtually to an agent in that city and let them apply on their behalf.

Express your intention to travel:

State an apparent reason for your intention to travel to that country in the visa interview. Whether you are traveling for a visit, family, business, or a job, state that reason clearly so that the visa decline rate can be reduced.

Show the necessary provincial funds:

There should be funds to prove you can survive in the registered country. This proof will also state you have enough money to pay all your expenses, including lodging, food, etc.

Check all the necessary documents:

Ensuring simple things are done correctly can get you your visa on time. Check all the documentation and requirements that are needed for the visa. A valid passport is required for every trip, so make sure every tiny detail the embassy needs should be present.

Provide correct details about yourself:

Wherever you are going, you should provide the information needed for travel. Any deception in the information can cause your visa procedure to be declined.

After receiving the visa, remember to make most of the visa for the trip.
